Radio is a resilient industry, staying profitable for decades by playing whatever it is – whether songs or other types of programming – that people want to hear. The industry’s resilience has been necessary because radio has always been a changing technology. It was a hobbyist’s toy in its early days, became the backbone of national entertainment in its golden age, and, finally, evolved to an important local medium that often struggles in today’s economy.

During all six episodes of the new third season, “Unproductive”, a team of students worked in a studio intended for radio broadcasts within the territory of the college where they studied, i.e. Brooklyn College.

In truth, I noticed only 4 important characters in the show, who really made a great contribution and by whose efforts the audience could follow a certain storyline throughout the whole season 3. In this case, I’m talking about Roxy, as I think she played great, Austin, Dylan and Emily. These four heroes essentially personified the entire third season. None of the other characters was as noticeable as these four.

The story of the third season, “Unproductive,” will inspire viewers, about a girl, Roxy, a cheeky and self-confident girl who puts women’s rights on top of her ideals and works in the same studio as her old friend, Austin, who in turn prepares to become a young father and is burdened with the state of things. Roxy runs her own show, “Roxy: Midnight”, which managed to succeed and get fame among the young college students. In my opinion, the plot starts attracting viewer’s attention when one of the best college basketball players agrees to form a company in the evening release with Roxy. That evening, it turns out that Michael, that is, the very same basketball player, took advantage of the recent state of the girl, Valerie, at a recent party and raped a poor girl. Valerie could not keep it inside herself and found the courage to express it all on the air of the evening release “Roxy: Midnight”. Yes, it was then that Michael got that cool boxing hook from Roxy, who has got mad when she heard Valerie’s revelation about her evening guest. And as we know, Roxie shares the extremely feminist views of women on rights as compared with men, and she could not stand aside.

I think that the further plot, which due to the small number of episodes can be called a denouement or climax, can be associated with the recent film I had seen, “Good Night and Good Luck”, in which the famous journalist and reporter Edvard Morrow fought with the anti-communist policy of the United States of America, affecting all residents of the United States in general and affecting every stratum of the population, whether it is a Senator of the United States Congress or a simple employee of the New York Times. This film is about the excessive degree of criticism that CBC journalists have had to face, and the consequences of this criticism.

However, in the third season, “Unproductive”, a young group of students faced another important problem, which, in turn, also protected the freedoms and rights of American citizens. In this case, we were told about the rape and how popular this type of crime has become in the 20th century. Roxie played the role of Edward Morrow, because she, like him, did not become a mere contemplator, but decided to make her contribution so that justice would eventually triumph. And it has triumphed.

Compared with the first two seasons, in my opinion, the third season was the best, not because I was an extremely successful game of actors, unlike the previous two, but because this season consists of a specific storyline that was well developed and presented to the audience. Of course, 6 episodes compared with the duration of the past seasons are very few, but no one should forget the fact that the amount of effort put into the new work has many times exceeded the efforts involved in creating the previous ones. Significant progress has been made in improving the sound component and camera positions during filming. This could not but rejoice the audience, because the first two seasons were criticized most of all not because of the sense that they were directly carrying, but because of the technical part, which by then was not the best. I am sure that the amount of time spent on the removal of the third season paid off with the quality that the producer originally planned and wanted to see in his show. Therefore, in my opinion, it is foolish to deny that the guys did an excellent job, because, in fact, I repeat, they did a lot of work, surpassing something new every day that was not there before them. And as you know, to invent something new from what has already been invented even more, is a great job and the guys really succeeded.

If we compare with another film about which I wrote a blog post below, “Daniel Ellsberg: The Most Dangerous Man in America”, then the theme of the third season, “Unproductive,” undoubtedly affects the theme of the above film. As with the story of the activities of Edward Morrow, Dan Ellsberg struggled with concealing real facts by the US government from his own people, while the war in Vietnam reached the inevitable death of millions of people. Dan Ellsberg devoted his life to protecting the rights of citizens of the United States of America and thus put an end to the vindictive war in which the United States achieved ambiguous results and which still remains one of the most controversial wars in the majority opinion. People sought to do everything possible in order to save someone’s husbands and sons and put an end to the bloody war. Most of all, people tried to retain the right to choose, which they did not have by that time.

Therefore, as we see, two films illustrating the struggle for the rights of citizens are connected with our third season of the show. In the end, Roxy and Emily were able to achieve justice and Michael was removed from the game for his team in the final. It was the worst thing for him to expect. In fact, Michael got what he deserved. I am confident that thanks to people like Ed Morrow, Dan Ellsberg and Roxy, the American people can be rest assured that their rights will not be violated by anyone and even more people will be inspired by the idea of ​​protecting citizens in questions about the attacks on their freedoms.

This show shows a concrete example that if you see a person in trouble, and this person needs your help, you should not stand aside and stay idle. On the contrary, it is necessary to provide as soon as possible the help that is required, because it can save a person both physically and morally.

This story with Michael reminded me of the show “13 reasons why”, in which the main character faced a similar problem, but none of the people close to her could help her in any way. In this case, I watched the act of non-participation of people and unwillingness to help a young girl. However, in our show everything turned out for the better. Michael received the degree of justice he deserved, and Valerie achieved what she wanted. It would seem – everyone is happy. Although the ending of the film turned out to be a little sad because Roxy and Austin would not be able to work together anymore, each of them got what they wanted. Austin will become a father soon and Roxy was invited to a real professional radio broadcasting studio, where she will definitely work and get satisfaction of what she is doing.

I was extremely interested in watching “Unproductive” and I hope to see the fourth season soon with even more episodes and characters. I hope that these guys will succeed in the art of acting if they suddenly decide to specifically engage in this activity and consider this option as a way to earn money in the future. They were able to impress me, because every time I watched the next episode, “Unproductive,” I thought only of one thing: after all, these guys are good, and how do they manage to shoot the show without having any budget behind them?

Since this is my last post for this semester, I tried to make a thorough analysis of the show and compared some of its moments with other films that were set for viewing earlier. I think that I did it, and I, in fact, received a dose of emotions, being in this Introduction to Mass Media class and can really say that from now I consider working on TV or on the radio in the future. During this period of time, I watched as many old but fascinating films as I have not watched in my entire life. I hope that those classes for which I have already managed to register in the new semester will be as exciting as this one. The most interesting thing throughout the semester, I was not bored only in this class, and I would like to definitely say thank you to our professor.

After watching both films entitled “Daniel Ellsberg: The Most Dangerous Man in America” and “Good Night and Good Luck!”, I was surprised by those people who, despite all the risks and threats from the American government, found the courage and bravery to publish facts that were considered secret and not subject to public disclosure.

The first film, that is, a film dedicated to a man Daniel Ellsberg, talks about all the trials and difficulties during the Vietnam War and how the 5 presidents of the United States of America frankly lied to their people while they pursued an ambiguous goal with their policies. During the conflict in Vietnam, as it was said in the film, the rulers of our country did not seek to maintain peace and tranquility in South Vietnam, but everyone in unison argued that the measures introduced in Vietnam were intended and pursued precisely this goal. In fact, American politicians literally sought not to fall face down and preserve the US reputation on the world stage, while thousands of young men and men died on the battlefield. This man, Daniel Ellsberg, served as a lever that opened the door to the right of ordinary Americans to know what politicians are doing and to participate in all political affairs. He revealed secret documents revealing obscene lies that the US presidents fed the American people for decades, thereby hiding the truth, and keeping the real facts about what goals the United States pursued in Vietnam. Dan Ellsberg managed to transfer copies of classified data to 17 different newspaper publishing houses. Ellsberg was sentenced to 115 years in prison on spying charges against the Pentagon. Despite all the attempts of the United States government to put Ellsberg in jail, human strikes and rallies, which by that time had reached colossal proportions, did not allow this verdict to be fulfilled and the United States Supreme Court refused to consider this case. Although most Americans saw the hero of the time in Ellsberg, none of the Pentagon employees wanted to mention the name of the “spy” out loud. Shortly after the secret materials were exposed by Ellsberg, President Richard Nixon was impeached by the US Congress and then resigned of his own accord. Another 90 days after his resignation, the Vietnam War stopped and the American soldiers were able to return home to those who were so sincerely waiting for them.

Another movie, “Good night and good luck!” talks about the threat of communism and the strict checks by the American government on all residents of the United States. The main character, Edward Morrow, was a journalist and main reporter for the CBS studio, who did not stand aside, but on the contrary, defended American citizens for the right to immunity and did everything he could to protect them from false accusations of communist involvement. Thus, he and his team achieved the release of one of the lieutenants of the American army from the jail and even the restoration of his rank and service. Senator Joseph Raymond McCarthy, who was promoting anti-communist policies in the country at the time, could not oppose the freedom of American speech and the American press. In the end, many of the CBS staff suffered from reports compiled and conducted about the political views of the American government. However, people finally learned the truth and were able to live without looking behind their backs, in fear of finding another communist there.

I think that both films reveal the lies that the American government is stuffing Americans with. After the publication of the secret materials by Ellsberg, people had an idea whether they were doing the right thing, when they fully relied on their politicians, and whether it was true that their activities always upheld the freedom of the American people, or this slogan long ago had no real meaning.

I received inexhaustible pleasure when watching these films and I am sure that from now on I will look at the actions of the rulers of our nation from another point of view, which will impose as much criticism and necessity of proof as possible, because what happened in different years of the 20th century inspires distrust of the current government and raises the idea that these cases of concealing reliable information can be repeated in the future. Therefore, for my part, I urge as many people as possible to watch these two movies and ask themselves: does our country have the right to establish freedom in other countries abroad, if there is no such within our country?

In espionage and counterintelligence, surveillance is the monitoring of behavior, activities, or other changing information for the purpose of influencing, managing, directing, or protecting people. Although it is focused on the overwatching of the terrorists, National Security Agency usually collects information about every single person, regardless whether this person is actual terrorist or not. I think that this factor causes the biggest controversy over the government surveillance.

Edward Joseph Snowden (born June 21, 1983) is an American computer professional, former Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) employee, and former contractor for the United States government who copied and leaked classified information from the National Security Agency (NSA) in 2013. His disclosures revealed numerous global surveillance programs, many run by the NSA and the Five Eyes Intelligence Alliance with the cooperation of telecommunication companies and European governments. In 2013, he was forced to move into the Russian Federation, after he had revealed some information about government surveillance in Hong Kong. Now, he has a status of refugee and he possesses the right for the asylum within Russia. In early 2016, he became the president of the Freedom of the Press Foundation, an organization that aims to protect journalists from hacking and government surveillance. By the time, I think that he did not like what the US government keeps doing (domestic surveillance) and so, he tried to reveal some information about what people in America go through and that the government of the USA has always had the thorough control over them.

In my opinion, he did not do something extremely extravagant that could have even made the authority of the US to revoke his passport after revealing of some insignificant information about espionage over the people around the world. Yet, I think that he is more kind of innovator rather than a hero or a traitor because he was trying to convey American people the thought that not everything that the American government actually does is good and directly helps people. He was trying to brighten that Americans are under the constant control and that they have to deal with it to not become slaves of their own doings afterwards.

In the video reportage of John Oliver, it was said that 46% of American people do not carry or are not concerned about the government having a watch over them. On my mind, this is kind of unplausible information because I think most of the people around the world know that the information they share with others is only their and nobody else’s. Yet, I think that those people must be concerned about who has an ability to see, listen or read what they wrote, recorded, or said a while ago. I, in turn, am really careful with the information I share because I have always known about this very government surveillance and I do not want my information that I share to be used one day against me. Therefore, all people should do the same thing, especially if we are talking about the Internet. Everyone should be intelligent and careful about what he is writing on the Internet.

In my opinion, this excess of power from the side of the US government, in particular, is a real problem for the modern society and people who live within the country have to be overwatched at least less than they are right now, in 21st century. The main reason why the government control needs to be slightly weaken is because everybody has its own opinion that they can spread out within the mass media, of course if we are not talking about the call for terrorism or making some uprising. So that may be a reason to keep overwatching people by the US authority and I do not really know what to say about that. Nonetheless, I think that the government surveillance is fine unless it does not interact with the private lives of people being under this surveillance. Finally, I think that the authority has to not monitor many of the people’s actions that it does monitor in fact nowadays.

As radio started being a widespread medium within the American society, radio started to have much more influence on people then it used to have before. Yet, people, in turn, began to trust radio more despite all the hoax it was spreading at that time. The biggest issue has occurred in 1938 when people were told about the invasion of the extraterrestrials on Earth via radio broadcasting. This case made a big boom in the radio industry and made people think twice before believing all the information they are told.

Most of the people did not know how to react on the information which was spreading through the radio in the early 1900s. Therefore, people usually believed all the words that were said by the radio speakers at that time. One of the most terrifying story of that time was the War of Worlds telling about some unknown object that landed somewhere in America, and after certain investigation people found out that this object is actually not just an asteroid but a real spaceship of extraterrestrials. Thereafter, this spaceship usually “woke up” after it had landed on some distant field or farm and started eliminating all people it saw on its way. I found a pretty funny moment while I was watching the first video. It was around 17 – 18 minutes from the beginning when alien spaceship “woke up” and started killing people, and they, in turn, started screaming so unrealistically that I honestly started laughing over people who actually believed this story. After that, the speaker reported that 40 people found dead and at this point I think people really started to be nervous and thought about what they are going to do next to save their lives.

However, I felt sorry for those people who got affected by this story and even escaped their houses in order to find a safer vault. At this point, I think those people who decided to tell such an effective story did not expect to find other people escaping their own houses and seeking for the guns to protect themselves from the sudden invasion. People were told the deceit and they believed this deceit. In order not to hide anything from my reader, I want to say that I have fallen for a hoax, too and this is definitely not one of the feeling that may be count as enjoyable for any person. It is rather misleading feeling that causes disbelief and doubt while talking to other people in the future.

I think that the reason why my professor chose this assignment is to show his students all the authority that different mass media have on society and how easily it can affect people in different ways. It can be easily related to the topic of Fake News that I had considered previously on my blog page. Furthermore, I think that it has to be stopped, people have to know the truth and never be told any hoaxes or information that leads to panic or disorder among the people in our society.

I couldn’t express what I was feeling in my soul after I watched the film of Andrew Niccol, called “Gattaca”. I liked it so much that I started thinking a lot about my life. But to be honest, what this film does the best is giving you a meal for your brains or some idea to be thought over.

The most favorite character who I, in particular, noticed and liked is that very disabled guy whose name is Jerome Morrow. His contribution to the Vincent’s life, the main character of the movie, is tremendous and Vincent had to be thankful for everything what he achieved only to him. However, Vincent did many huge efforts to help Jerome as well. He succeeded in bringing Jerome’s dream into the life, inasmuch as he glorified his name to the top, and Jerome was actually thinking about this for his entire life.

This movie was released more than twenty years ago and as I mentioned it’s really conspicuous for the people who watch this film. The camera which was making this film is old and was recording it with a poor quality which would’ve be valid for today’s movie lovers. However, if the company that released this film twenty years ago refreshed and improved some details during the filming process then this film would be actual to this very day. Also, due to its main idea and outstanding acting of such good actors as Ethan Hawke and Jude Law and such a beautiful actress as Uma Thurman, I think that the movie would be popular if it were published nowadays.

I liked and I thought so much about the purposefulness of the main hero. What was moving him to go straight forward and achieve what he sincerely wanted? Despite what sort of people he was put in by the will of fate he didn’t give up, he didn’t let someone else to get the work he wished so much and so long, and the most impressive fact that his health didn’t let him down in the very decisive moment. And that moment when a doctor didn’t call the police patrol to catch Vincent was one of the two most affecting moments in the film.

Vincent is definitely the protagonist of this movie and the main focus was made around him. However, I mentioned another actor who I think starred better in the film. It’s Jerome Morrow. His facial expressions were outstanding and this character made people to feel sorry about what happened to him a long time ago. He was hit by a car and his legs became unable to walk. He literally became chained to his wheelchair. It was sad for me to see him so hopeless every time. But again, that contribution that he has made for the Vincent’s dream cannot be assessed with any others. He became his direct donor of different analyses such as blood and urine. However, in the end of the film he dies. He burns himself into the huge oven, initially putting on himself his silver medal that he won once during the swimming tournament. Among the most affecting phrases that he has pronounced in the film was definitely when he answered Vincent about who lives upstairs. As a response, Vincent got a few words in a very depressing tone: “Of course, not me.”. This gives people to think about the real value of what they have at the moment and not start to appreciate what they will lose one day.

Overall, the film is really impressive and let you think about what you will do next in order to make your cherished wishes come true. Also, it gives people the charge of energy that they may direct to the accomplishment of this desire. I am truly happy that I found some time to watch this movie and get a chance to think over my life. I will definitely advice my family and friends to watch this movie and I think that they will also be satisfied as I am right now, after watching this astonishing film of Andrew Niccol.

In my opinion, the main idea that this film was trying to convey is on the surface. Do not be afraid of dreaming something, even if you think that you weren’t even born for this thing, just go for it and you will see how people will start envying you as you will be getting better and better and finally you will achieve something that you were thinking and dreaming about.

Recent Supreme Court’s case showed that Republicans as well as Democrats support their partners during the hearings in the court whether these representatives have or don’t have enough plausible evidence to prove the innocence of their party members who were accused under any kind of circumstances. It’s sadly to realize that today’s government stands not for the truth but for the party members they are loyal to.

On September, 28th, Christine Blasey Ford wrote a testimony concerning alleged sexual assault that the President Trump’s nominee, Brett Kavanaugh might have committed and was accused, in fact, by Dr. Christine Blasey Ford. This case takes place in the distant 1980’s when both, sufferer and defendant, were engaged in a party and Brett Kavanaugh was under the black out effect or had, in fact, black out effect after drinking of some inaccurate quantity of beers. It would seem that Dr. Christine does not have any reasons to have a speech in a court today, after more than 30 years. However, the reason why she stood in a court that day is explicit.

Brett Kavanaugh recently was assigned in a short list of the possible nominees who may take a place in the Supreme Court. This action gave a push to Dr. Ford to start appealing against him because in her opinion no such people who had committed any kind of crime in the past might take such a powerful place in any branch of government thereafter. Thus, Dr. Ford selected a really relevant time to give a strike and get a revenge for something that has occured a long time ago.

Nevertheless, despite all shoutings from Republican side and after listening to Brett Kavanaugh’s speech I still strongly support Ford’s allegations that Brett Kavanaugh has, in fact, committed a crime that must be accused and punished. There is still not enough evidence to stand up for either side but the kind of demeanor that Brett Kavanaugh used during his speech, a tone and gestures he used, the questions he asked in response while he was supposed to answer and many avoidance of giving the obvious answers, gave a certain motiv to think that he is a very person who should be estimated as guilty and be accused for such a heavy crime.

I think that it is enough to say that judge Brett Kavanaugh is guilty for a reason even after his response concerning letting the FBI to have an investigation regarding this case. On my mind, nobody can be uncertain at this moment when he obviously tries to conceal something and does not let to brighten some facts that may illustrate him totally guilty. But another frustrating fact is that no one from Republican party stands against his misdeed, everybody is strongly convinced in fact that judge Brett Kavanaugh is innocent and that all those allegations that were testified by Dr. Ford are nothing more than hoax of malice prepense in order to collapse republican party and destroy Brett’s life and family in general. According to the theconcourse.deadspin.com, “Power now works without shame or remorse or even the dubious old courtesy of mask or euphemism; it takes care to make it clear that it believes that the suffering it creates doesn’t matter.” suffering of simple people is inevitable thing to experience while climbing upward the governmental top. Power expects everyone else to just go on hurting other people and that is all about politics nowadays.

Eventually, I hope that Brett Kavanaugh will answer for his actions under the prospect of justice. Of course, if he is not guilty then it is premature and unreasonable conclusion to claim that he is the person who has actually committed a crime. But anyway, in my opinion, republican party has showed itself from the bad side where they insisted to establish not the right decision and punish whoever is guilty but to protect someone who is from their own party regardless that fact that this very person might, most likely, have committed a crime. It is really sadly to observe that people stay innocent even when not enough amount of proves were provided and I hope that this kind of situation will be improved in the future and such kind of partisanism will be vanished, notably from such a supreme group of people as national government. I would like to find out the truth at this situation; therefore, I will keep watching over next actions from both sides. But for now, I am strongly convinced in that fact that judge Brett Kavanaugh is guilty and he has to carry the punishment.

Political correctness is the avoidance, often considered as taken to extremes, of forms of expression or action that are perceived to exclude, marginalize, or insult groups of people who are socially disadvantaged or discriminated against. After reading a few articles concerning such topic I have come to the conclusion that compliance with political correctness is a hard thing to accomplish. Furthermore, using of some of the inappropriate words or expressions may result in triggering warnings or emerging such kind of microaggressions from the side of audience, i.e. community that heard those words.

According to the George Carlin video, many words that had been used in English American language got old and were substituted by new and more tolerant words that do not cause any bewilderment and misunderstanding among different layers of population. The point that he, George Carlin, was trying to make an accent on is that people become accused even by words that were initially used to outline their actions or describe themselves.

I totally agree with the articles I have read about how people become more tolerable and thereby, get insane about things that somehow might have violated ther feelings. I would just call such process of getting more tolerant as getting out of the control or becoming douchebags. After watching two of the Bill Maher’s videos I have come to the point that different celebrities like apologize for the things that do not even seem offensive. Nonetheless, I cannot really understand the main principle why they apologize for such things. Do such individuals really feel the presence of guilt? I suppose that it’s nothing else but hypocrisy and conceit. After watching the second video I realized that people have started seeing things that were usual for the past from other perspective. Therefore, such things, notably in TV shows and films, as Bill Maher told, are not perceived as usual in the present by people. Nowadays, people think that there is no place in shows for women rights oppression, racial segregation, some ways people talk or act, etc. From one hand it is correct that people get more restrained and accurate in their statements, however, form other hand, people have the freedom of thinking anything they want and say what they want but with a certain caution. Sometime in the past the borders were blurred and people literally lost their freedom of speech. That’s why such political correctness has emerged. I would like to say that I absolutely agree with Bill Maher’s point of view and how he presents today’s situation concerning tolerance and changing people’s minds.

Now, what I think about college campus/safe places. I think that such places should not appear in schools and colleges. I think the only place where children can be protected from violating suggestions and words is their homes. No restrictions should be imposed on educational institutions and I believe that teachers and professors are free in their educational strategies and how they deal with students.

In the end, I want to give an example of the country whose citizens are mostly restricted in their expressions. This is North Korea that has nothing but dictatorship of their leader whose name is well-known. The same situation when people were forced to think twice before say something was in USSR during the term of Joseph Stalin’s leadership. People were threatened by the special agency that was watching over everyone who might have said something wrong about government or governors.

Finally, I would like to conclude that political correctness seems silly because this may result in incompetence and shift of people from thinking independently and based on their opinions to the certain system that would be ruled by government.

Fake News is usually an informational hoax or deliberate dissemination of misinformation in social media and in the media in order to obtain financial or political benefits. I think that fake news is accurate term for such thing because such news definitely bear fallacy and delusion.

After I have red these articles about fake news, I became even more convinced that media, in every way, tries to influence society, and spreading of fake news is not an exception. I was kind of frustrated how people can easily undergo the affect of wrong news which rely on not facts but data.

I rather agree that “America losing its mind” because during this interim, specifically 20th century, a tremendous amount of fake news overflows American television and other media resources. Starting from threatening people by the unproved fact of the visitation of extraterrestrials to the conspiracy over the 9/11 accident.

For me, the most surprising elements of “America losing its mind” article were how effectively people can fall under influence of politics and people who are interested in controlling the nation, and also unreasonable people’s faith in such news that are obviously untrue.

On my mind, Facebook should have created some kind of census long time ago. However, nobody is interesting in such fact that people are predominantly controlled by the internet nowadays. Facebook should track any news that gather a huge attention from the side of users and is supposed to supervise the truthiness of certain posts. Thus, people will be getting used to the constant supervising of posts they read and become more confiding concerning the information such posts were written about. The analogical census is supposed to be imposed on such websites as Youtube where it’s partly affects in terms of permission of appearance of videos that carry sexual content which is inappropriate for this website. Twitter has basically no control over the posts people write and it isw partly right because people frequently write their thoughts and it would have been incorrect to let or not let posting certain opinions. Furthermore, Twitter was initially created for such people who want to share their ideas and beliefs. However, lots of politicians use Twitter as their first and only source of electronic communication with their audience, therefore certain individuals should fall under the supervision of services of such websites. Absolutely, these websites have to be beholden by the companies that had created them long time ago, not by the government or people who would be abusing such responsibility.

I assume that people are overfed by the fake news and in my opinion it’s sadly to see that people do not do any actions toward fixing that. Moreover, it’s scary how people may sometimes act according to news that are spread out via media. There were many uprisings among people who were affected by th fake news and robberies and even murders. That is another prove that nowadays media totally affects people’s minds and people rely on data not on facts and evidences. Remember the fake news about an Armageddon/the end of the world in 2012. Many people believed this doubtful information which had no enough proves. But, it is not a single case in history throughout the times. Conspiracy theories have taken a certain place in people’s minds. Bunch of people believe that Donald Trump’s election in 2016 was falsified, but nobody has provided sufficiently true information concerning this issue. Society is ready to believe in everything scandalous and unusual thing that somehow might have occurred in their everyday lives. “America losing its mind” and it’s the most appropriate term for such thing. Of course, vague elections and some of the allegedly true news. Nowadays, it represents itself a huge world problem and people must resist to it. Therefore, I think that the only way is to establish a census or standard which would control spreading of deluded news and any data that is not approved by many reasonable and reliable sources. It would be a right action from side of websites. However, this deal is not only about the Internet, but also newspapers, magazines, journals, radio, television, etc. To be honest, I have no idea how to stop spreading or reading fake news via such resources. The less people listen to politicians the less effect they undergo. Hence, my dear friends, stop, please stop trusting everything that is broadcasting into society and have your own opinion on everything because we live in the country of freedom.
